Personal Profile
Introduction
There is a fine line separating self-promotion from honest and well-meaning bio information sharing.
Some people do not want to talk about themselves at all, and they judge negatively those who are willing to share who
they are and what the Lord is using them for.
Purpose
The purpose of this Personal Profile presentation is not self-promotion. Part of the ministry that the Lord Jesus
Christ has given me is to travel to the nations and preach the Gospel; He said: "I will send you to many churches
around the world to preach the Gospel". Many Pastors want to know who I am before they trust me with their churches.
This page addresses this need; let me put it this way - this is what I would like to know about the preachers who come
to minister in my church. Further, it is my testimony for the glory of my Lord Jesus Christ, who called me to abandon
my old life and serve Him in full time ministry. I am His servant, and my testimony glorifies Him!
Biography
I was born in 1959 in Hellas, on the island of Crete, where I grew up. Academic education: top student from High School, graduated with
honors and scholarship for top grades with B.A. in Economics from the American College of Greece. Then studied M.A. in
Business Economics in the University of Essex, UK. After my military service in the Hellenic (Greek) Army (Tanks
Division), I was hired by Procter and Gamble in Hellas. Quickly promoted to a Senior Manager's position; sent to Bulgaria
to start and manage the local subsidiary in the post communism era. Worked altogether 14 years for Procter & Gamble.
Resigned in June 2000 and followed the Lord's calling; started my own ministry, "Christian Development and Revival
Ministries" as I felt the Lord imparting a new vision for my life.
Married to Evi, a wonderful woman of God, prophetic intercessor who is usually "pregnant" with new things
in the spirit. She is a co-pastor of our church, gradually developing into her apostolic calling for the
restoration of women in the Body of Christ. Our children are all believers in Jesus Christ.
Ministry life highlights:
"Shalom Center", Athens, Hellas (Greece)
My wife and I direct and pastor this ministry center, which houses a House of Prayer and the "Church of the Holy Spirit" (which was birthed through
the House of Prayer).
It is a center of seeking the Face of the Lord, intercession and spiritual warfare, healing and deliverance, seminars and conferences, and more.
Shalom Center is also an Equipping Center; the Foundations Equipping Center (FEC) and Ministers Equipping Center (MEC) are Bible schooling programs
of systematic preparation of the saints for the work of the ministry (developed under the leadership of Lori Garcia, missionary from USA).
The ministries of Shalom Center are operated under the co-leadership of Aggeliki Kokkala (Associate Pastor), Elenka Atanasova (Deaconess and
Administrative Assistant),
Regina Legrat (Deaconess), Anna Korovina (Worship leader) and Lori Garcia (Bible School Director).
Home base
In 1999 I founded the Prayer Chain Network of Hellas. Here below are some Pastors and their
churches with whom I have a personal friendship:
Vincent of Lamb of God (present Apostolic Leader of the PCN), Nida of River of Life, Joseph of Living Christ, Jude of Christian
Pentecostal Mission, Bishop Dayo of One Accord, Jhun of Agape, Ben of Redemption Ground, Eyob and Tedros of the Eritrean
Fellowship, Morgan of Bible Family, Samuel of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lourdes of Christ the Mighty God, Abraham
of the Ethiopian Church, Peter of his own home fellowship, Fidelis and Rosa of their own home fellowship and others.
In Sept 2007 we ordained Joseph and Florence (who were deacons in our church) as Pastors of a fellowship they started in Kerkyra,
as an offspring of Shalom Center. Joseph and Florence have relocated to Kerkyra to shepherd that fellowship.
Traveling ministry
That includes preaching and teaching at churches, seminars, conferences, teaching Bible College/School, personal ministry
to individuals, and intercessory mapping and warfare projects. Some of the countries where I have ministered: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Costa Rica,
Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Kossovo, Makedonia, Malta, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Spain, UK, USA.
South-east Europe and Balkan countries relations and cooperation
Since October 2002 there is a developing relationship with Franz Lippi, Pastor of Exousia church in Graz, Austria, an
Apostle to the Balkan nations, founder and leader of BLAST Ministries. We also have a growing relationship with Pastor
Angel Peltekov and his church "Life through Christ" in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. With Pastor Angel we work on an initiative for the missions to the
Rodopi Mountains along the south Bulgarian border, which are predominantly Muslim; we support spiritually and financially some missionaries
who live in the Rodopi; we work together on other projects to see the glory of Jesus rise up in our region (e.g. a House of Prayer in Plovdiv).
European authority
Since September 2002 there is a developing relationship with Roger and Sue Mitchell (Passion Ministries, UK),
and we are part of "Target Europe" prayer initiative of which Roger is the Director. Also, since November 2003, I have
initiated a European prayer initiative called "Gatekeepers of Europe", seeking effective strategies to conquer Europe for Christ.
This is the result of a call for Europe which the Lord gave me in February 2002, when He told me:
"Defend Europe". Even though I am still trying to understand the fullness of what He meant, what I see Him doing in that direction is that He is
building a network of people with authority over their nations, with intercessory anointing and prophetic insight. I believe that such a network will
help build further the "Gatekeepers of Europe".
Relations globally
We have on-going relations with Pastors, churches and leaders in various countries. We maintain a special friendship with Alex and Sharmaine Meek of the
New Wineskins Ministries of Australia; we have been working on many projects under their leadership, also supporting their traveling ministry.
Affirmation of the apostolic sphere of authority
By personal calling of the Lord Jesus Christ I am an apostle. The apostolic gifting manifests through the power of transformation, followed by signs, wonders, healings, distributions of the Holy Spirit,
and the fruit that is the mark of the divine presence in certain projects where I am involved. My apostolic authority has been affirmed by the International Coalition of Apostles, who have invited me to be
a full member (since 2002) and the Prayer Chain Network of Hellas, of which I am the visionary and a co-founder. In fact, P.C.N. was the primary environment where my apostolic gift and authority became
manifest and produced the corporate body that developed out of a small prayer group. The pastors and churches that have asked me to be their spiritual father, and have positioned themselves as my spiritual
sons, are further testimony to the Lord's calling, gifting, position and authority.
My spiritual background
I was born again in the spirit as a child in the Hellenic Orthodox Church. Following an angelic visitation in April 1992, my life began to change and led me
to the day that I started preaching in 1997. That has been mainly in Charismatic and Pentecostal churches, starting from my first international service, which was
in Malta, in February 1998, at the initiative of missionary Pastor Pavlos Polyrakis.
I discovered from my very first service in 1997 that the Holy Spirit was flowing through me in a very special way.
The main characteristics even from the start of my ministry were:
-people receiving the Gospel of Jesus Christ and were born again by the Lord's Spirit;
-baptized in the Holy Spirit (i.e. speaking in tongues);
-healed (including fatal and incurable diseases);
-delivered of demonic possession, oppression, and curses;
-people convicted of sin, restored and rekindled in the spirit;
-prophetic insight and word (for individual lives, cities, nations, and
time-related plans of God);
-spiritual mapping and strategic location intercession;
-leading prayer and intercession (e.g. intercessory team leader);
-leading prophetic/prayer/teaching conferences;
-revelation teaching of the Scriptures and the Kingdom of God;
-writing articles and books (books waiting for God's timing to be printed).
