Personal Profile, updated March 2011
Introduction
There is a fine line separating proud self-promotion from honest, simple and well-meaning biographical information sharing. Some people do not want to talk about themselves at all, and they judge negatively those who are willing to share who they are and how the Lord is using them.
Pride is to exalt oneself! At the same time, it is also pride when we are concerned about what people might think of us when we give describe what we see the Lord Jesus do in and through our lives. True humility, without religious pretense, is to be open to boldly speak out for the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving testimony of truth, with a child's simplicity of heart, without fear about what people may think or say.
Purpose
This Personal Profile serves a major aspect of our ministry, which is to travel to the nations and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Part of His Calling was: "I will send you to many churches around the world to preach the Gospel". Most Pastors want to know whom they are inviting before they open the doors of their ministries. This page addresses this need, or, to put it this way: 'this is what I would like to know about a preacher coming to minister in our church'.
Biography
Economist by education, resigned in June 2000 after 14 years of work for a corporation, to follow the Lord's calling. Started own ministry to the nations, "Christian Development and Revival Ministries".
Married to Evi, a wonderful woman of God; a prophetic intercessor with many spiritual gifts, who is usually "pregnant" with new things in the spirit; a co-laborer in our ministry. Our children believe in Jesus Christ.
Ministry life highlights:
Traveling ministry
Preaching and teaching at all levels in Churches, Conferences, and, Bible Colleges; intercessory mapping and spiritual warfare projects; mentoring younger leaders with whom the Lord connects our hearts for that purpose.
"Shalom Center", Athens, Hellas (Greece)
"Shalom Center" is the Name the Lord gave to this House of Prayer that we opened up on Dec. 12, 2003. It has become a center of seeking the Face of the Lord, intercession and spiritual warfare, healing and deliverance, seminars and conferences,
prayer for the Governments of Hellas and the EU, intercession for Israel, and more.
The "Fellowship of the Holy Spirit" was born through the people who became the spiritual family of "Shalom Center". We started formal church services in April 2005. We operate as a spiritual family that is primarily focused on personal discipleship.
"Shalom Apostolic Network"
The first branch coming out of "Shalom Center" in Athens was established in 2007 on the island of Kerkyra (known as 'Corfu' in English), through 2 of our elders who relocated there to lead the local fellowship.
Parallel to the establishment and growth of our ministry in Athens, a national and international network of ministries has developed on the basis of personal relations and apostolic mentoring (ref. fatherhood) of local leaders.
Corporate activities
We are co-founders of the "Prayer Chain Network of Hellas" and actively co-lead it under the present leadership of Vincent Kluvia and co-leadership of Nida Namattoc. This relational network of church leaders and ministries started its corporate activities in 1999. Since 2010 we have seen an increase in the corporate fellowship of Pastors and activity among churches in Athens, as we continue to faithfully serve the corporate cause of the Body of Christ in Hellas.
The cause of Europe
Following a call of God to "defend Europe", in February 2002, and a growing vision and burden to pray for the Continent and its European Government, we have given out the call for a relational network of the "Gatekeepers of Europe", which started its corporate activities in 2003, mainly through an international Gatekeepers Convention which we organised in Athens.
The next major international activity of the "Gatekeepers of Europe" took place in Brussels on 10.10.10 (10th October 2010). It was a historic 3-day gathering of leaders and European Networks praying for Europe. It confirmed the increasing work of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of many European leaders to uphold our Continent in prayer, guarding its spiritual gates through local, national, and, international corporate activities of worship and intercession.
Affirmation of the apostolic sphere of authority
The apostolic calling, office and gifting manifests through the power of transformation followed by signs, wonders, healings, distributions of the Holy Spirit,
and, the resulting fruit bearing additional witness.
People submitting their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ is additional witness to the power of the Gospel for salvation operating through our ministry (but not necessarily a testimony of apostolic authority).
Our apostolic authority and ministry has been affirmed by other ministries nationally and internationally, in various formal and informal ways. The ultimate affirmation comes from the leaders/ministries of "Shalom Apostolic Network", which is led in cooperation with Angel Peltekov (Bulgaria), founder/leader of the "Apostolic Church", a formal denomination of churches/ministries in Bulgaria.
